ABOUT THE PROJECT

Learn Safely is an Erasmus project (KA210-SCH) co-funded by the European Union to create tools for adults, based on children’s advice, that support safe and inclusive schools.

Forandringsfabrikken (Norway) and ComParte (Portugal) partnered on the project, asking around 260 children in both countries how they feel safe in different learning situations at school.

Children shared how teachers can promote well-being, make evaluations safe (from presentations to group work), and create calm and safe classroom environments. Together with teachers, their knowledge formed digital tools with ideas, tips, and videos for everyday use by educators across Europe.

ABOUT THE ORGANISATIONS

Forandringsfabrikken (Changefactory Norway) has extensive experience conducting national surveys with many children and young people, facilitating meetings between children and young people and decision-makers, and engaging in advocacy work.

ComParte – Fundação Maria Rosa (Portugal) works with youth and migrant/refugee people and creates informal contexts for participation, where citizens are listened to and, then state their ideas and recommendations through moments of sharing and collaboration with professionals and decision-makers.
